Fat Shaming & What's Wrong With Being Fit?

Last week I saw a video posted on CNN while I was viewing the Health section.

CNN Article/Video Here: http://www.cnn.com/2013/10/17/opinion/navarrette-maria-kang/

This 32 year old Mom of 3 has worked very hard at this body and done one hell of a job. Speaking of jobs, she has a full time one. Key here is she makes time for herself to workout in the morning, and eats well. A body like this is achievable for most people that are willing to put in the work with the a proper diet and exercise program. We should be cheering her on loudly here, instead online communities (Facebook/Twitter) have decided to take a different approach. They are accusing her of "fat shaming".

Simply put, just because you are not willing to put in the time, don't make this about her, it's about you. Fitness is all about you vs you, and being better than you use to be. You don't have to look like this, but you should aim to be healthy. Almost all new studies link body fat percentage to all major health diseases.

Quite frankly maybe American's need a little more of this type of motivation. When people see other people can achieve it, it helps motivate them. It's always helpful to know what good looks like. Here you have it.
